About Bob 

Bass

Born in Chicago, Bob grew up in a musical family.  His father was a Big Band trumpet player from the age of 17. Bob also played trumpet as a child but turned to bass guitar and singing after the Beatles. At 14 he started his first group, The Twilights and his  first big gig playing for the grand openings of a major clothing stores many chain outlets. He went on to play in other Chicago area folk and blues bands while also doing studio session work.

At 24 Bob moved to Los Angeles where he continued in the music industry for 25 years, managing independent music distribution. He then moved on to the movie and television industry working at different Hollywood studios including Sony, Paramount and Disney  until departing for Reno in 2018.

In Reno Bob has played with many bands including, Cornerstone, the Boom Cats and Rhino Fish at venues such as Nugget in Sparks,  The Red Dog in Virginia City, The Topaz Lodge, and recently at the Glow Park in Reno.

Bob now graciously hosts the Big Eddy Band’s rehearsals at his Reno Home that he purchased in part because it provides a comfortable space for rehearsal (not a garage: )
