About the Band

Best known as a local Reno Nevada band, Big Eddy and their sound have developed and grown in popularity since 2019. But then the COVID-19 pandemic hit. The band and its members had to take a hiatus from rehearsals and performing due to the pandemic quarantine restrictions.  After the restrictions were lifted, the band re-grouped notwithstanding several personnel changes during the past year.

Now, with the recent acquisition of veteran showman extraordinaire Michael Coleman on lead vocals and guitar, Big Eddy has resumed to booking performances.

Influenced by the community, culture, and sounds of their hometown and popular horn-band songs of the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's and beyond, they perform music that speaks to fans across the musical spectrum.

Their signature style has become synonymous with a diverse collection of melodies and compositions. This Big Eddy Band is on the rise and nothing can stop them from achieving the success they’ve worked so hard for.
